Stream of Sweet Destruction

A whisper travels on the breeze, a tale spun from sugary lies and tangled truths. It speaks of a flow, its waters glinting with the allure of intoxication. But within its depths lurks a shadow, a dangerous lure that promises power at the cost of souls. They say those who fall in its current are forever lost by the current's hold, their lives forever transformed into a bitter melody.

When the Tanks Burst

On January 15th, 1919, Boston was struck by a disaster unlike any other. A massive tank filled with that thick sweet nectar burst open in the city's North End, unleashing a wave of sticky sweetness that swept through the streets like a tsunami. The flood, standing at least 25 feet in some areas, was devastating. Homes and businesses crumbled under the weight of the unstoppable goo.

The aftermath was grim. Twenty-one people lost their lives, and many more sustained wounds. The flood also caused extensive damage to property, leaving a trail of sticky residue in its wake.

Boston's Sticky Nightmare

This past week/month/summer, Boston has been plagued by a horrible/utterly disgusting/awful sticky nightmare.
